About the Project
This trimester, our team of three have developed game prototypes every two weeks for our university submissions. Through each week, we were provided with specific themes to base our prototypes on. For this final project in making a fully developed game, we decided to revisit the theme 'One Button', all the while reimagining how we originally developed the prototype. We interpreted this through the control scheme, allowing the entire game to be played with a single button.
NOTE: Since we are student game devs, please keep in mind that there are some slight bugs present, and follow these tips to allow the more important story-based information to be shown ~
1. When navigating the Foyer (the second room in the game), make sure to hug the right side when approaching the call box located on the wall near the exit. Touching the door will cause you to exit the building before the call box dialogue is triggered.
2. In Alice's apartment (after the city), make sure to interact with all items in the bedroom first. Interact with the shoe rack or bookshelf last. This is due to the cutscene triggering before the textbox can complete.
3. There is a bug that causes the final cutscene to not play. This seems to happen at random, and we didn't have time to correct this. We apologize if this happens, as it's quite important in wrapping up the story.

The Story
An android has suddenly awoken from their sleep state to a system alert. They are long overdue for system maintenance, and without the support of their creator, who's location is currently unknown, they will soon progress to system failure.
Due to her incomplete state, Prototype 9 can only perform one action at a time. She must make use of this system regardless, and find her creator before it's too late.

Controls
Tap Space = Cycle Movement Direction
Hold Space = Move in Selected Direction
To interact with the environment, simply move into object range.
